Maurice Maeterlinck's drama "The Biue Bird" tells the story of two little French children, Tyltyl and Mytyl, who leave their home on Christmas Eve to search for the Blue Bird of Happiness. They are so sure of finding the bird that they carry a wicker cage to put it in. Tyltyl takes his dog and Mytyl her cat. Accompanied by their old friends, Bread, Milk, Sugar, Fire, and Water, they form quite an imposing cavalcade. First they journey to the Land of Memory where they' have a delightful time with their doting grandparents and the little brothers and sisters who died years ago. But the Blue Bird is not there. On they go to the Land of the Future where the veiled spirits of little children are waiting to be born. They see the great galley with its silken sails on which the babies embark. Far away across the blue shadows, they hear the lullaby of the mothers waiting to welcome them to earth. But they have not found the Blue Bird. SHE WAS A REAL WOMAN If Lydia E. The formula has been improved several times to keep pace with modern knowledge of therapeutics. 2
