failed in their work. This is in itself a great feature, when one remembers the number of new untried preparations being placed on the market daily. Note the treatment of disease by Nature's Herbal Remedies is mentioned in the oldest Book ever published and has been practised in the East for thousands of years. REGARDING BENEFITS FROM THE TREATMENT We occasionally get letters from patients, who have been prescribing the different Dr. Lee's Herbal Remedies for themselves, in which they state that they have not made the same progress as a friend of theirs, who, having more money, had been treated by the English Herbal Dispensary Ltd. While this is a thing that might easily happen, the fault does not lie with Dr. Lee's Herbal Remedies, but is caused by the patients who are treating themselves not really knowing what is the disease they are suffering from, and therefore not taking the best medicines for their troubles. This state of affairs need not happen, as we are always pleased to advise the most suitable remedies for any condition, and you can rest assured you will receive the same attention from the Dr. Lees Herbal Remedy Co. as from the English Herbal Dispensary Ltd. Our advice is don't be afraid of writing to us of your troubles. We think in most cases it would be advisable for intending patients to write and ask us what combination of remedies we would advise for their troubles before commencing to prescribe for themselves. THE MEDICAL PROFESSION In this pamphlet, as in all our other works, we wish to emphasize the fact that our treatment is not antagonistical to the regular qualified family medical men. In fact, we have the greatest respect for them and consider them a very hard-working profession, and the fees they get are often very inadequate for the work they are called upon to do, this work often during the hours of the night when the ordinary man is sound asleep. In passing, we would mention how often a man will call the doctor out of bed at 3 a.m. and yet ignore his bill 3 months afterward. These are well-known peculiarities, but they nevertheless must irritate the man whom the public expects to turn out of his bed in the middle of the night to come to their aid. We are writing this paragraph because we find so many people have the idea that because we do not agree with all the operations that are performed, and treat with a different form of medicine, that we must be at war with all other schools of medicine, and especially the surgeon and regular practitioner. We also wish to state that the use of these remedies is not intended to take the legitimate place of the qualified medical man. At the same time, we have never found any medical men objecting to their patients trying other forms of treatment when they themselves have failed. To those living far from skilled medical aid, this pamphlet will appeal most strongly, and we trust you will pass it on to your friend or write us their names and addresses and we shall be most happy to send them a copy free by mail. We wish one to be in every home in our land.
