Cartonnage with remnants of gesso and paint. Different fragments display different hands, fr. 1 has a very small and swift hand, fr. 2 has a large, practiced hand; most of the remaining fragments display a hand similar to fr. 2. Fr. 1 is an account, with various amounts and calculations. Fr. 3 is the bottom of a letter, ἔρρωσο begins the last line. Fr. 1: margins UNClear (top and bottom?), front, 15 lines and traces of 2 or 3 more written along the fibres; back, 14? lines written against the fibres, mostly illegible. Fr. 2: no margins, front, 5 lines and traces of 2? more written along the fibres; back, blank; fr. 3: no margins, front is much obscured by paint, 7 lines written along the fibres; back, 5 lines written against the fibres; fr. 4: no margins, front partially obscured by paint, 4 lines written along the fibres; back, 3 very faded and effaced lines written against the fibres; fr. 5: small writing, very faded, no clear margins, 5? lines written along the fibres; back, traces of several lines; fr. 6: no margins, front, small writing, 5 lines inside of a bracket, written along the fibres; back, traces of 4 or 5 lines; fr. 7: no margins, front, 5 lines written along the fibres; back, painted; fr. 8: margins UNClear, front mostly traces of ink, a few lines are partially clear, this is probably a fragment of the account, 15? lines written along the fibres, most are illegible; back, traces of ink; fr. 9: no margins, front, mostly obscured by gesso, near infrared improves visibility and legibility of ink, 7? lines written along the fibres; back, traces of 5 or 6 lines.
