Recipes cover a wide range of dishes, soups, meats, puddings, cakes, pickles, beers, and wines. French influence may be found in certain recipes, while references to Bengali measurements suggest family connections around the Empire.

Maria Ann Jones married John Banner Price, the Assistant Commissary General for Montreal, on 11 Oct. 1834 in Montreal. She died there in 1839.
