Manuscript on vellum. Oriental (Babylonian) hand; square script with Babylonian (superior) vocalization. Dating uncertain; most scholars date it to the mid-11th cent., but several experts have postulated an earlier date based on codicological evidence (mid-9th cent.). There is a colophon at the end of the second leaf but it has gaps which make it impossible to determine the exact date recorded. Carbon-14 analysis yielded a mid-11th cent. date.
First leaf has section from Tractate Niddah (from end of 6:1-9:5). Second leaf has the end of Tractate Ukẓin.
Part of a larger manuscript; other parts located in Oxford and the British Library.
