Manuscript on vellum, written by Shabtai Balbo of Candia, Crete, early 15th cent. Scribe identified by Malachi Beit-Arié. The first leaves of the MS. are written in another hand.
Incomplete; beginning missing.
Marginal note on the first page signed by Natan Noaḥ, claims that the MS. belonged to Amira (Shabbethai Tzevi) and his student A.M.Ḳ. [Abraham Miguel Cardozo] who passed it on to him before his death.
On fol. 217v: "zeh ḥelḳi mi-kol ʻamali shefal berekh u-nekheh ruaḥ ha-tsaʻir Natan b.k.r. Yaʼudah Noaḥ.
In many places the order differs from that of the printed editions, and there are additions in various places. In a few places the scribe indicates omissions.
In the margins are supplements, corrections, notes and comments in the hand of the scribe and in other hands.
Includes "Kabalat ha-niḳudim" by R. Shem Tov Gaon (leaf 154v).
The scribe's name Shabtai is indicated at two spots (79v, 85r).
