SING AND HIGH-CLASS COMMERCIAL WORK
W E CLAIM that the Art Caxton is the finest platen in the world.
It is a bold claim, but it is also an indisputable one.
The Art Caxton is not only used by the finest printers in the British
Empire, but it is in use in every country in Europe except Russia.
The merit of the Caxton has taken it into
France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Norway
and Sweden despite the heavy import
duties and notwithstanding the compar-
ative cheapness there of competing
machines made on the Continent.
Foreign-made platens cannot be compared wlth the Art Caxton
for strength, rolling power, interchangeable construction or correct
mechanical design. The known weaknesses of foreign-made ma-
chines are not present in the Art Caxton, which is producing work
hitherto impossible on any platen press. The Art Caxton is made
in nine styles. Even the cheaper grades, made to compete with
the lighter foreign-made machines, are double geared and have
two fly-wheels.
