A Nursery for Advertisers
H ERE is no better paper in Canada than the Manitoba
Free Press in the thoroughness with which it covers
its field, the completeness of its news, and the excel-
lence of its business management. Mr. Macklin,
the manager, stated recently in referring to the MacLean
papers: "Your trade newspapers are the nursery for the general
advertisers, and they are doing a great deal to educate the small
retailer to become an advertiser, and to use his local newspaper.
I encourage their circulation wherever I can among our adver-
tisers and probable advertisers."
